Major investments, Magical Color Routes and Green Angels strengthen Tabasco’s tourism activity / @TorrucoTurismo @SECTUR_mx >>>

#SECTUR.- At the inauguration of the Tabasco 2023 Fair, on behalf of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, the head of the Ministry of Tourism (SECTUR) highlighted that his office is working hard on the continuous improvement of tourist destinations, with the support of various federal agencies.

He pointed out that in Villahermosa, the Ministry of Tourism, in coordination with the Ministry of Agrarian, Territorial and Urban Development (Sedatu), last year invested 874 million pesos in construction, supervision and expansion works, and in 2023 an investment of 1,059 million pesos is planned; in actions that strengthen the tourist activity of the state capital, such as the Malecón de las Gaviotas, Villa del Primer Cuadro, the baseball stadium and markets, among other works.

Torruco Marqués indicated that the Magical Town of Tapijulapa will be intervened with the Magical Routes of Color program, which consists of urban improvement, through the painting of 140 facades and 20 artistic murals, through a tripartite investment scheme, and with the collaboration of Comex and the civil association Corazón Urbano; as well as the naming of a Magical Neighborhood in Villahermosa, which will increase the tourist flow and the economic spill, for the benefit of the local population.

He also informed that four units of Green Angels will be put into operation, two will be granted by the state government and the other two by Sectur, with the purpose of reinforcing the attention of tourists who travel through the highways of the state.
